labor + birth.
Support begins in pregnancy!
-
You can add as many prenatal visits as you need! We want you to feel confident going into your birth, we want you to have every opportunity to learn about yourself and your body while preparing for the birth of your baby.
-
When we create your birth plan, we go through 2 hours of education on your preferences, your questions and you options within all of it.
We know the hospital policies, we know what is allowed vs. what is recommended.
We create a plan so that when you are asked a question, YOU can refer back to what you had talked about when you were not in a vulnerable state.
We create a plan around all the possible outcomes so you know what to expect during the unexpected!
-
We are a support person for the entire family. We have never had a partner or grandparent disappointed in our care approach. We recognize that our family centered approach helps build the team that will be the family unit for the remainder of time. This is how we create generational change.
Advocacy begins with knowledge!
As your doula it is our number one goal to get to know you and know what YOU want in your birth experience.
The best way to advocate for you, is getting to know you. We work on a team to be able to provide you a primary doula but also ensure that no matter what you will have unwavering support during YOUR birth.

While there are instances where a cesarean is necessary, doulas have been proven to reduce cesarean rates by 37%. This is not because we don’t agree with cesarean sections, but because we know that there is usually time to allow for your body to do the work. We often advocate for more time and more movement. We are educated on what positions will help turn your baby and we take the time to be present with you, your provider often cannot do this, they are working with several other families too!
-
Our team works with your team! We are well respected and trusted by area providers. With this valuable relationship, we are able to coordinate care and ensure your concerns and wishes are heard!

Inductions happen, we know this. We know that sometimes you choose to be done being pregnant, you might have a medical need for an induction or your provider might suggest it. We are there to support you through your birth, this means being supportive of an induction too. We ensure you are educated on the process and what choices you have and we also make sure you are preparing your body for the induction as well. Your providers job is to make sure you have a healthy baby and you are also safe in the process, our job as doulas is to make sure you have an experience that you feel in control of and informed throughout the process.
